In my comic book "Psi-Woman," I wanted to highlight that people with autism are unique and can make a difference in the world. Along with my twin brother Aaron, I have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Autism is a term used to describe a set of conditions marked by difficulties with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech, and nonverbal communication.

Dave Kot's Face Value Comics comic book about an autistic superhero named Michael was a huge influence on the idea of my project. Michael is a comic book superhero who is autistic and has a mathematical intellect, artistic talent, and a lot of kindness. According to Face Value Comics, Michael is the first comic book hero with the disorder. Autistic comic book characters are uncommon in the comic book industry. I enjoy drawing fictional characters and enjoy reading comic books such as DC Comics and Marvel Comics.

I considered merging my artistic abilities with the concept of autism and superheroes to create a comic book. Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign are two Adobe Creative Cloud programs that have aided me in the creation of my comic book. My comic book layouts were drawn and colored with Adobe Illustrator, while my titles, dialogues, and narrations were typed with Adobe InDesign.

For my senior show in 2022, I am making a debut issue that introduces my character Khalifa Rose, better known as Psi-Woman, an autistic teenaged girl with psychic and telepathic abilities. I need to praise myself for conquering my stress and finishing my project for the show. I also want to express my gratitude to my family for their encouragement, as well as my professors, who have given me with a great deal of guidance and directions on how to complete my senior show project.
